KESTER

Full refurbishment and alterations to a 6-bedroom/ 5,000sqft 1920’s house near Sevenoaks in Kent.

The concept for the refurbishment works was of a modern twist on an Arts and Crafts aesthetic and the philosophy of organic architecture. The joinery throughout the house co-ordinates with its original timber panelling. The master bathroom is lined with limestone of contrasting textures and this principle continues thoughout all bathrooms. The original oak parquet flooring was refurbished and extended into the principle living areas.

The joinery package included a bespoke kitchen, new library, built-in desk and storage to the new study space, built in wardrobes to all bedrooms and some custom designed furniture.

The project completed in July 2014.
